How to Heat Your Empanadas

From Frozen

  • Preheat oven to 220°C (fan‑forced)

  • Place empanadas on a tray lined with baking paper

  • Lightly egg‑wash for a golden finish (optional but recommended)

  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden and heated through

  • Rest for 2 minutes before serving


From Cold (Pre‑Baked)

  • Preheat oven to 180°C

  • Place empanadas on a tray with baking paper

  • Bake for 10–15 minutes


Air Fryer (Frozen)

  • Set to 180°C

  • Cook for 7–10 minutes

  • Remove when the pastry is crisp and golden


Microwave (Not Recommended)

  • Heat on low for 1 minute from frozen

  • Note: The dough may soften — oven or air fryer gives the best texture


Storage

  • Store in the freezer below –18°C

  • Best enjoyed within 3 months

  • Do not refreeze once thawed
